The project began with Rainy Terrell, a California native with a foundation in opera, piano and theatre. Those classical roots fused with her love for rock, electronic and pop, forming the backbone of her songwriting. Untamed melodies, unapologetic lyrics and dramatic instrumentation. What began as Rainy’s solo project soon demanded expansion. Enter Kris Ferris, a guitarist whose metal infused sensibilities brought a heavier edge to Rainy’s cinematic vision. His dark, robust riffs intertwined seamlessly with her soaring vocals and melancholic progressions, forging the tension driven chemistry that defines Alibis’ sound.
